WalkAbout (18 holes) Golf Tournament
+$195 per additional hour
The Golf Outing WalkAbout offers a brand new way to capture and share branded memories at golf outings and other similar events. The WalkAbout is a mobile device which our team will use to take photos of guests with a studio grade light to create sharp, crisp and instantly shareable branded photos or boomerang video clips. This is a very unique and interactive way to be a part of the event.
There are multiple goals for the Golf Outing WalkAbout branded photo experience:
- Drive additional donations to your organization
- Drive branding and awareness for the chosen sponsor(s) during the event and long after the event concludes
The package includes up to 4 hours of activation time (additional hours are available on a per-hour basis) which is an appropriate amount of time for an 18 hole tournament. Our team will arrive approximately 30 minutes before start time to be sure we are set in the right area upon event start time.
The guest experience:
Our team will drive around the course and take photos of the foursomes wherever they're playing their ball - most tournaments play "best ball" so we meet them most anywhere on the course (Time permitting, our team can also take individual photos of the foursome at no additional cost - we simply need to be cognizant of the rate of play so as to not delay other players).
Once the photo is taken, each of the golfers will be asked to send the branded photo to their mobile phones. Optionally, after our team has made its rounds on the course, we can have a print for each golfer in each session printed and waiting for the participants with the organizers.
The entire process, from lining up the golfers to the time each of them has entered their phone number to text themselves the digital copy of the branded photo, takes under 30-40 seconds.
Provided that our team has cellular access to the internet, the guests will immediately receive a text message thanking them for supporting the XYZ organization and mentions the title sponsor in the body of the message. For instance, "Thank you for participating in the 15th Annual XYZ Golf Outing. Your photo, sponsored by ABC Company, is here: https://boothpic.co/h2w87"
Once the guests click the link, they are directed to a branded microsite where the Title Sponsor will be prominently featured at the top and will include 3 bids for future action tabs at the bottom. Upon clicking the Title Sponsor logo at the top, as well as each of the 3 individual tabs at the bottom, the guests will be directed to an appropriate website.
We strongly suggest that one of the 3 bids for future action tabs at the bottom of the microsite direct the guests to a donate website where they may make additional donations during the event or long after the event concludes - turning the WalkAbout into a revenue generating experience.
While some organizations will chose to have the other 2 "non-donation related" tabs direct guests to the Title Sponsor's LinkedIn, Facebook or other social media profiles, other organizations may have additional companies who may want to sponsor the WalkAbout at a lower level - thus, the other 2 tabs can be branded with these sponsors' logos and send the guests to their corresponding website(s).
The guests may share their branded photos online to Facebook and X (formerly twitter) directly from the microsite with pre-populated messages and/or tags to be auto-populated in the post. Guests may also download the branded photos to their smart phone.
Post event, client will be provided a link of all branded photos as well as a list of all texted phone numbers which can be shared with the sponsor(s). The week following the event, an articulation of the number of downloads as well as Facebook and X (formerly twitter) shares directly from the microsite will be shared. An estimated "online reach" figure is also included.
